Christmas Eve Manicotti

image

My best friend Laura sent these pictures over to document her adventure to Durso’s in Flushing (Murray Hill) to get some fresh pasta for Christmas.  The line was very long and filled with people from all over Queens who do this every year–there must be something to it!  Though she waited awhile (and made a note to bring coffee next year), the people working there were very efficient and the wait was worth it.

What to get:

  • Fresh manicotti (Box of 6 - $7.95)
  • Fresh ravioli (Box - $5.99)
  • Marinara sauce ($7.50)
  • Spinach bread ($7.50)
  • Sausage bread ($7.50)

This may have to be a new Christmas Eve tradition!
