Last night’s walk to O'Neills in Maspeth (Shilelagh Law!) via the “Ridgewood Plateau”. These signs marking the plateau at 65th Place were restored in 2014. According to the Juniper Berry, they were originally there to entice people to move to the neighborhood in the 20s & 30s because apparently Ridgewood was a cooler neighborhood.
This weekend’s road trip brought us over the Triborough aka RFK bridge with a lovely view of the Hell Gate Bridge ( @gothamist has some good coverage of the history of the Hell Gate which is supposedly haunted)
This is titled “Keeping my New Year’s Resolution even in the blizzard.” Obviously it made it easier because the Yoga Room is right around the corner & I am doing the $39 for 3 weeks of unlimited classes as an intro package. They closed right after the class due to the weather conditions so I got in just in time for some zen.
